Ignoring Controversy, Baby Arrives at Home

Not Blueberry.  Not yet, anyways.  A woman on the homebirth listserv I belong to shared this article, recently published in the Washington Jewish Week.  In the continued absence of my ability to form enough cohesive thought to write my own blog about homebirth and why we’re doing it, this is an excellent temporary substitute that pretty much sums up the sentiment behind our decision.

    Great article! It shows that the best laid plans… even ones that are for more high-tech births… don’t always work the way we think they are going to.
